My coffee with God 06.01.17

My children and brothers and sisters in Christ I know exactly how the author of the devotion I read this morning felt. I often feel inadequate even when I pray. Peter is correct to say that we have all we need to live a Godly life while here on Earth. We do share in the divine power that has been given to us through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through this divine power, we are free from the influence of a sinful life and become increasingly Christ-like, we have the Holy Spirit, and upon Christ return, we have the promise of eternal life. Before I became a Christian, I live as the world. However, as a Christian, I look at things differently. I try to imagine what Jesus would do and pray for His guidance. I no longer would seek revenge on those who wronged or attacked me. When trespasses are committed against me, I forgive and then pray for the salvation of the perpetrator. What would you do?
