My children and brothers and sisters in Christ, the first person I thought of while reading today's devotion from "Our Daily Bread Ministries" was my daughter, Desiree. After her misfortunes and series of bad decisions, she lays paralyzed eating through a G-tube. Yet when the news spread about her Christians from all over the world came to see her. Our family got so much outpouring of support, we were overwhelmed. It has been over nine years and her condition has improved, but she still remains in care at a Rehab Center. She is still having influence and bringing Christians together to do the work of The Lord. She has affected so many lives, through her strength and determination to live. We do not know what is the future of our daughter, whether she will have a full recovery, partial recovery, or if her condition will be the same as it is now. We have left that to God to do with her as He wishes. My wife and I have been blessed through all of this, by her.
