My coffee with God: Knowing God's Word

My children and brothers and sisters in Christ, one of the best spiritual weapons we have to fight the spiritual battle is scriptures. Jesus used scripture to repel and defeat Satan's temptations during Jesus's time in the dessert. Paul mentioned the word of God in Ephesians 6:17, "and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God". (ESV). Knowing scripture also will equip you to share the Gospel with others and leave a legacy of worship and faith that will be passed down from generations to generations.
