My children and brothers and sisters in Christ, on his way to Jerusalem, Christ encountered people who witnessed Pilate's execution of Galileans and the tragic accident of the tower in Siloam that killed people in Jerusalem. The witnesses who were talking to Jesus still believed that these people were killed because of their sins. Jesus immediately corrected them and told them that these tragedies had nothing to do with their sins. Jesus tells these witnesses that unless they repent, they will likewise perish. Jesus told these followers the parable of a fig tree (Luke 13:6-9). In this parable, Jesus is illustrating the love and patience God has for us, but this will not go on forever. God is giving everyone a chance to look into their spiritual lives and not judge others (Luke 13: 2-5) and come to repentance before the final judgment. The question that you should be asking is where do you spiritually stand before God
