My Coffee with God: If Only to Seek God's Face!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, the Northern part of Israel was under attack. The question for Judah was how long before the Gentiles will attack them. This was a country in crisis and turmoil. This was expressed in Psalm 80 as a lament. Three times the request was that God would shine his face upon them so they might be saved (Psalm 80). There will be times that you feel your "world" is in crisis and turmoil. The one you can turn is God. You can look away from your problems and ask your Heavenly Father to shine his face on you. The best way to see his face is through Christ and the cross. When you see his face, his smile will confirm your safety in him.
