My Coffee with God: Grieve VS Joy

My children and brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus once told his disciples that they will grieve, but their grievance will turn to joy, and that their joy will never be taken from them. When He was betrayed, put on trial, and crucified, his disciples did grieve and were terrified. However, on the third day, he arose and stayed with his disciples for another 40 days to comfort and instruct them. The same promised is made to us. Now we grieve because we live in a fallen world. Our grieving will turn to joy upon Christ's return to reclaim the world. In the meantime, just like Jesus did with his disciples, He has left the Holy Spirit to be our comforter, teacher, and companion.
