My Daily Coffee with God: A new Heart and Spirit

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, Israel spent seventy years in exile to learn from their mistakes of turning from God to serve worthless idols. Never the less, God kept his promise and made it possible to return to their homeland with a new heart and renewed spirit (Ezekiel 36: 26-27). Many scholars believe that this was a foretaste of what was to come when Christ comes upon the scene. God continues to keep his word that Abraham will be the father of many nations. God is still doing this today. Only God can give us a new heart and spirit. He transforms us and cleanses us from our sins when we give ourselves to His will and His ways.
