My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ throughout man's history with God, we all have wanted to see God. The problem is that If we saw God face to face we would literately die. Moses requested to see God, and God granted his request, but only allowed him to see his back because His glory will be too much to endure (Exodus 33:17-23). In the New Testament, God has shown us His glory through The Lord Jesus Christ. As we read through The Gospels we clearly get an image of God through the works and teachings of Christ. Christ told Philip that whoever has seen Him, has seen The Father because He is in the Father and The Father is in Him (John 14:9). We can ask God to help us reflect the image of His Son in our lives. We can be imitators of Christ by our actions and words.
