My Daily Coffee with God: You Can Choose Your Father and Family

My dearly beloved children and brothers and sisters in Christ" I love the title of this devotion. It brings the point up that we are always warring with our natural body and our spiritual body. Paul says that if there is a natural body, then there is a spiritual body (1 Corinthians 15:44). This means if we have a natural Dad, we can have a spiritual father. As said in the devotion, you don't have a choice who your natural father is, but you do have a choice who you want for our Spiritual Father. In turn, you do not have your choice who is your human family, but you do have a choice to choose your spiritual family. The only good choice is to believe in Jesus and trust him as your Lord and Savior. Doing so, you are part of God's family and He gives you the right to become his child. child (John 1:12).
