Memories

My beloved brothers and sisters in Chris, I always thought if I could go back in time, I would do things a lot different. If I could visit myself (starting when I am about six), I would tell myself to turn my life over to Jesus. Then I would wonder what my life would be like as Jesus looking over me and directing my path. Obviously, my life would be better with Jesus directing my path. I would not have to live in the memories I have now due to the consequences of my sins. However, none of us will ever be able to go back in time. We have to live with what we have done and accept it as things that makeup part of our character. We have to learn from them and move on. One thing for sure although you will remember things you did in your past, God will not remember them if you have turned your life over to Jesus and trust Him as your Lord and Savior. Jesus died for our sins and in doing so, suffered the ultimate punishment, death.
