Your New Name

My beloved brothers and sisters in Chris, in ancient times, names were important. They defined who and what you were. Today names are still significate. You might be named after a Biblical character, hero, or a member of the family. God has names for us, also. When we are given our worldly name, it is based on a worldly identification. However, when God gives you a name, he sees into your heart and gives you the name that he sees in you and your potential to serve Him. The lesson is that we need to look at others as God looks at us. I wonder what name God will give you or me. One day we will be given new names by the Lord Jesus.
