My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, when you face afflictions and trouble, be grateful. Why? God is equipping you to comfort others as He brings comfort to you. God uses you to comfort others because you can relate to their trouble having experienced it yourself. When afflictions and troubles come, turn to God who is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort (Cor. 1:3).
