Being Faithful, No Matter What

My beloved children and brothers and sisters in Christ, when I read the troubles that faced Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, I am inspired. King Nebuchadnezzar made a proclamation that everyone will bow down to his new idol. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused. They stated that they served the one true God and will not pay homage to any false God. King Nebuchadnezzar gave them one more chance and told them if they refuse, they will burn to death. The three were defiant and told the King that the God they served will deliver them from the fiery furnace and his hands. The King became angry and they were thrown into the furnace. As the King watched them, he observed that there were four people in the fire, and the three were not harmed. This is an act of faith and I am not sure I am up for. I can hope that if I am faced with worshiping and serving God or not, I know I can turn to God to strengthen my faith. You can count on Him, also.
