Daily or Unusual Encounters

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, as I reflect on my life, I get down on myself. However, I do not let my situation affect those who I encounter throughout the day. I always carry a smile, because I honestly feel good. My life is not perfect, but I know that God is in control and He listens when I pray. In our everyday moments, a smile can offer relief, hope, and the grace needed to continue. I agree that a smile results from the condition of our inner being. A “happy heart” is at peace, content, and yielded to God’s best. Since we have a "happy heart" we can respond to unexpected circumstances with a genuine smile (I sometimes laugh). We can show others the hope and peace they too can experience with God.
