God's Creations and His Unconditional Love for Us

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, as I reflect on today's scriptures, I can relate to the author of Psalm 104. I am an animal and plant lover. I am fascinated by the hummingbirds and I welcome them. However, I am grateful for God who created pets for us. David had asked, "What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?" (Psalms 8:4). God reminds us constantly that He loves us. I think that He created domestic pets to remind us of His love. For example, we have two dogs. They love us unconditionally (so does God). They run to greet us every day when we come home (God runs to us when called upon). They love to receive affection from us (God loves to give him our love), and they give their undivided attention and love (God gives us his undivided attention and unconditional love).
