A Simple Promise Kept

My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, promises kept are the glued to relationships. They lay the foundations for love and trust. We have learned through scriptures that God keeps his promises. In doing so, he has established the foundation of love and trust for us to have a divine relationship with him. Knowing this we can "make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love" (2 Peter 5-7). These qualities will help you be effective and productive in your knowledge of God. "For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Chris" (2 Peter 5:8).
