Our Old Enemy, Pride

My beloved sisters in Christ, arrogance, and pride is the most significant enemy to Christians. It is so easy to deceive yourself that you are the best, a legend for your time. Viewing yourself in the mirror of self-importance reflects a distorted image. Self-elevation positions us for a fall. There is a way to destroy arrogance; that is through humility that comes from God. The Lord Jesus taught and model for his disciples how to be humble. The lessons that Jesus taught his disciples and what know about Christ is enough to keep us humble before The Lord. A phrase to keep you on track is, "In Jesus' name I ...."
