Created in God's Image

My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, All that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. We are precious to God and made in His image. According to theologians, we are created in His image (possess emotions, intellect, will, and conscience). Just as there is relationship within the Godhead, we are made for relationship both with God and with one another. Being created in His image means we are not intended to live in isolation. We are made for relationships with each other. The Apostle John wrote that since God loves us, we ought to love one another. God gave us free will which means we can choose to love and abide in Him. Some choose to reject God. However, God loves so loved us (even those who reject him), that He sent His son to die for our sins. God loves us, and all around us are those who are precious to Him. May we express our love for Him in return by sharing His love with others.
