My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, All that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. One of the ways to show piety is to share your blessings with others, in this case, we are talking about giving to the needy. In the scriptures, Jesus points out the wrong way The Pharisees loved to give, but it has nothing to do with God's love. They gave to get recognition and attention. Jesus made it clear that they will not be rewarded in Heaven. This is true even today. Whatever you do to share God's love, (giving or otherwise) do not draw attention so that God will reward you in Heaven.
