My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, All that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. What I take from this passage is two[fold. First, the legacy we leave behind is loving the Lord and telling our future generations about His love for us. Second, we have to demonstrate or model God's love to others as He has to us. Unfortunately, there will be others who will leave a legacy of hypocrisy that say they love and honor God, but teach their generations to hate those who are of a different race and culture. As Christians, we have to leave a positive and God-fearing legacy for our generations that will follow us.
