Acts of Love, Faith, and Hope

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "Faith, Love, and Hope." The scripture is from 1 Thessalonians 1:1–3 with key verse being "We always thank God for all of you," 1 Thessalonians 1:2. This devotion Lisa Samra wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, All that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. What I take from this passage is the work God has called us to do is characterized by our love for God and our neighbor. I was called to teach as service to God. I still teach out of love for the children, faith in God because he places me there, and hope in the future that these children whose lives I influenced will succeed. My wife and I worked in the AWANA ministry as service to God. We did our jobs faithfully, lovingly, and with hopefulness
