I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "Into Our Storms." The scripture is from Mark 4:35–41 with key verse being "He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down, and it was completely calm." Mark 4:39. Adam Holz wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters in Christ, All that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. What I take from this passage is that Jesus is God. He is God in the flesh, the one with power over nature, the spirit world, our bodies, and power over death itself. There is nothing we face that is beyond His ability to command. Once again, as mentioned before, trust Jesus "to calm your storms" in life.
