Time

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "Just a Second." The scripture is from Psalm 39:4–6 with key verse being "How fleeting my life is." Psalm 39:4. Dave Branon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, All that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. What I take from this passage is that time is precious and critical. Each minute wasted, we will never get it back. I think about my life, and I wish that I did things differently. I would trust Jesus as my Lord and Savior early in my life and start forward. Do not waste your time chasing after earthly materials, but spend your time serving God and building a treasure in Heaven.
