Be Aware

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "Not What It Seems" The scripture is from 2 Kings 19:29–37 with key verse being "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God" 1 John 4:1. Tim Gustafson wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. What I take from this devotion is you do not believe everything you hear. Many people will advise you but deny God. God speaks to us through His Word. He guides us with His Spirit. His hand is on those who follow Him, and He will never abandon us.
