Honoring The Fallen

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "The Last Call" The scripture is from 2 Samuel 1:17–27 with key verse being "How the mighty have fallen!" 2 Samuel 1:27. Tim Gustafson wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. Today is Memorial Day. We remember and celebrate those who have died to preserve our way of life. For me it is a time to remember our Christian ancestors who gave their lives to spread the Gospel. Christians join "hands" and honor those who have served others. We honor the Creator when we honor the memory of those who honored God.
