I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "Ring in a Dumpster" The scripture is from Matthew 13:44–46 with key verse being "Seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" Matthew 7:7. Julie Schwab wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. Heaven is more precious than anything you can imagine. Experiencing God's kingdom will not be comfortable or easy. God’s kingdom is so countercultural that Jesus describes it as “yeast” (v. 33}. It’ll ruin everything we thought was relevant to this world!—all our plans, all our assumptions, all our comfort. But it’s more than worth it. It’s the treasure that’s infinitely precious, the source of endless joy. However, you can not do this on your own efforts. First you have to seek God. If we seek God, through His Word, worship, and in our daily lives, we will find Him.
