I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, www.odb.org. Today's devotion is titled "Be Still, My Soul! " The scripture is from Psalm 131 with key verse being "I have calmed and quieted myself" Psalm 131:2. Arthur Jackson wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I am glad to read that Christian authors and writers are encouraging everyone to calm themselves in the midst of crisis and corruption that is all around us. I like how David said that he does not occupy himself with things too great and too marvelous for him. If we follow David's example, we realize that we can be hopeful and content knowing that there is Christ who has promised to never leave or forsake us.

Father, when things change in our lives, help us not to be anxious but to trust You and find contentment in You alone.

May God bless and comfort all of you.
