I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, www.odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “I Just Can’t Do It” The scripture is from 1 Corinthians 1:26–31 with key verse being “The law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith” Galatians 3:24 NKJV. Tim Gustafson wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. In our world, most of you feel helpless, I know I do. Every time I get ready to write, I do not know what to say. I turn to God to help me. You feel helpless about what is going on with our government and how it affects our lives. Do not fear, this is when God is at His best. He is working in the background to bring our country out its spiritual darkness. He will make fools of those who boast to be wise, and choose weak, unlikely, or flawed characters to bring about His purposes.
Thank You, Lord, for blessing those who are poor in spirit, who mourn, and who hunger and thirst for Your righteousness. You are our righteousness!.
May God bless and strengthen all of you.
