Nothing Satisfies Like Jesus

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, www.odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “What’s Your Passion?” The scripture is from Psalm 20:6–9 with key verse being “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God” Psalm 20:7. David H. Roper wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I once trusted in material things to make me happy. The author was right; I was not satisfied. I enjoyed new things for a while; then I would want something more unique or better. When I became a Christian and began my walk with Jesus, I became a whole person. I realized that He gives me happiness and peace. There is a longing in every heart that only Jesus can satisfy.
Thank You, Jesus, for satisfying our longings; through your blood, we are saved.
May God bless and strengthen all of you.
