Remain Centered On The Cross

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, www.odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Through the Cross” The scripture is from 2 Corinthians 4:8–18 with key verse being “[Nothing] will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:39. Anne Cetas wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I look at this devotion to encourage us not to be despondent. As circumstances around us are deteriorating, we as Christians remain steadfast in our faith and continue to do His will and calling for us. If we hold to the truth that Jesus gave His life for us, and His love is deep and sacrificial, we see His love and faithfulness, and our trust in Him grows.

Father, teach us who You are. Increase our trust in You. Fill our minds with Your perspective.
