Always A Way Out

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, www.odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Shelter from the Storm” The scripture is from James 1:12–18 with key verse being “But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter” Psalm 73:28 NLT. James Banks wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, and brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. We will be tempted and might fall into temptation unless we are firmly grounded in our faith. One thing is certain, God will not tempt us. He is incapable, his very nature forbids. When we fall into temptation, we did on our own. God will give us a way out. As we turn to Him and call on Him for help in the moment of temptation, Jesus gives us the strength we need to overcome.
Lord Jesus, You conquered sin and death forever through Your cross and empty tomb! Help us to live and thrive in the forgiveness only You can give.
May God bless you and have a great day.
