Jesus Has All The Answers

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, www.odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Jesus Knows Why” The scripture is from Mark 8:22–26 with the key verse being “When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching” Matthew 7:28. Alyson Kieda wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. When I read this devotion, I remembered times when people asked, "Why did God let this happen?" or" Why didn't He answer my prayer?". Great questions, sometimes God answers prayer or performs a two-part miracle mentioned in Mark 8:22–26 or, as with The Apostle Paul, not at all. Maybe God uses these partial or no-miracles to bring us to a closer relationship with Him. However, we can trust that God is working in our lives and the lives of our loved ones, and He will give us the strength, courage, and clarity we need to persevere in following Him.

Dear Lord, thank You for knowing us so well and for providing what we need most. Give us eyes to see You and a heart to understand Your Word.
