I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, www.odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Riding the Rapids" The scripture is from Isaiah 43:1–7 with the key the verse, “When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you” Isaiah 43:2. Kirsten Holmberg wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I never went white-water rafting, but I believe it is exciting. However, I encountered life's "white-water rafting," and it is not exciting. I know God is with us through all our troubles, even when we forget to call on Him. He is our comforter, provider, and guide. Let God be yours, also.

Thank You, Lord, for being our guide through troubled waters. Help us to trust You even when the journey is wild and scary.

May God bless you and as He blessed us.
