I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “An Enduring Happiness" The scripture is from Psalm 34:1–14 with the key verse, “Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days . . . . Turn from evil and do good” Psalm 34:12,14. David H. Roper wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, and brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. It is amazing how different is the worldly life and Godly life. The world says, seeing is believing, but God says believe and see. Missouri is known as "The Show Me" state. God's Kingdom is "believe, and I show." As Christian,s we take "a leap of faith" knowing that Jesus will equip us for anything task He wants us to do. Take the Lord at His word. Do the very next thing He is asking you to do and you will see.
Lord, sometimes we must simply pray: “I believe. Help my unbelief.” Help us trust You by doing what You have given us to do today.
God bless and keep you.
