Giving What God Has Given You

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Generous Givers" The scripture is from 1 Chronicles 29:1–14 with the key verse, “Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”1 Chronicles 29:14. Xochitl Dixon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. Giving is an integral part of Christianity, and it is the most difficult. It is hard to let go of what we consider ours. However, we have to realize that everything we have comes from God. Therefore, we have to be generous givers and trust God to provide for our needs. Give whatever you can money, time, or other resources. You will be blessed.

Lord, please help us remember You own it all as we commit to giving You our all, willingly and selflessly.
