I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Learning to Trust " The scripture is from Matthew 6:25–34 with the key verse, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows” James 1:17. James Banks wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. Having total trust in something or someone you can't see is a tall order. The world says if you can't see, touch, and smell it, don't believe it. Jesus says the opposite, trust in God and believe and He will be faithful. He promised, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33).

Loving Lord, please help us to trust You to take care of us today, tomorrow, and forever!.

God bless and keep you.
