Discipline

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “You Love Me?" The scripture is from Malachi 1:1–5 with the key verse, “How have you loved us?” Malachi 1:2. Kirsten Holmberg wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. No one likes discipline. However, God disciples for our good and safety because He loves us. Keep this in mind the next time He takes you "to the woodshed".

Lord, You have shown tender care for us over the course of our lives. You’ve been present with us in difficult seasons. Help us to always remember Your love.
