I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Call for Help" The scripture is from Acts 2:14–21 with the key verse, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” Acts 2:21. Marvin Williams wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, and brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. When I read this passage, I can not help being excited. It is what Jesus said happened. Now the Gospel is available to all nations. Anyone who calls on the name of The Lord will be saved. If you are trapped in sin, you cannot save yourself. Your only hope for being rescued is acknowledging and trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Have you called on Jesus to rescue you from your sin?

God bless and keep you.
