I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Finding the Way Home" The scripture is from 2 Corinthians 1:3–11 with the key verse, “[God] comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we receive from God” 2 Corinthians 1:4. Randy Kilgore wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. What I understand is during life there are overwhelming trails. We have faced such trails with our children. God brought us through and taught us how to help others on similar trails. We do thank God because we know how to care and encourage others. My teaching partner has a tough class this year. I can comfort her with the experiences I had with tough classes and how God got me through them. If you are you are willing to learn, God will help you through any challenge, and in turn, you can assist others to find their way out of the darkness.
Father, help those who are hurting today so they may see and know Your loving presence in their darkest hours.
God bless and keep you.
