Food

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “The Ultimate Satisfaction" The scripture is from Isaiah 55:1–7 with the key verse, "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!” Isaiah 55:1. Linda Washington wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. The food and water in this devotion is spiritual food and water. We need physical food to survive physically and spiritual food for our spiritual lives. Jesus revealed himself to be the source of our spiritual food. Only God will satisfy our spiritual hunger.

Father, we long to know You more. Only You can satisfy our deepest desires.
