A Time for All Things

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “A Fitting Time" The scripture is from Ecclesiastes 3:1–14 with the key verse, "He has made everything beautiful in its time” Ecclesiastes 3:11. Kirsten Holmberg wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. What I take away from this devotion is that life is full of events, and we have no control. Some are pleasant, and others are painful. We are assured of God's presence in all the "seasons" of our lives, and He can make all things beautiful in its time.

Father, You have permitted seasons in our lives. Help us to be content in the midst of them, and recognize Your power and might are at work.
