Walk in God's Way

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Walking God’s Way" The scripture is from Isaiah 30:15–21 with the key verse, "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'” Isaiah 30:21. Adam Holz wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I learned the lesson well to walk in God's way and not trust in my understanding. My pride and self-centeredness nearly made us homeless. On another occasion, I almost destroyed our marriage. If you take nothing from this journal, please heed my plea and always walk in His ways.

Father, You’ve promised to guide us through the ups and downs and decisions we face in life. Help us to trust and follow You, and to actively listen for Your guiding voice.
