I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Hope in the Darkness” The scripture is from Jeremiah 31:16–26 with the key verse, “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” Jeremiah 31:25. Poh Fang Chia wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. These are perilous times we are living in The United States. Our country is divided along racial, ethnicity, and religious lines. Our President is spewing hateful tweets at all those who disagree with him. We had pipe bombings against Democratic leaders, and slaughter of innocent women and children at Jewish tabernacle during christening both by the present administration's supporters. I feel Jeremiah's grief. Then I remember that God is in control and He will make all things right His way, in His time.

Lord, fill us up with hope and give us a tangible reminder today that things will turn out right in Your way, in Your time.

May God bless and strengthen you in Christ
