I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Compassion Fatigue” The scripture is from Matthew 9:35–38 with the key verse, “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Matthew 9:36. Bill Crowder wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I think if I won the lottery, what will I do. I see so many people who struggle with loneliness, sin, and illness. I become overwhelmed with all the thinking. How about you? May the Father give us a heart for others that mirrors His heart.

With the world filled with heartache, teach us to model the compassion of Jesus.

May God bless and move you to compassion for others.
