I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “I’m Sorry” The scripture is from Colossians 3:12–17 with the key verse, “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13. Alyson Kieda wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. In this devotion, we learn it is better to forgive than hold a grudge. God calls us to live in peace and unity. If we have a grievance with someone, we bring it to them in love. God will help us to reconcile.
Dear Father, thank You for forgiving us when we come to You in sorrow over our sins. Help us to receive Your forgiveness and to extend it to others.
May God bless and show you how to forgive.
