Serving Others

I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “What We Can Do” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Philippians 2:1–11 with the key verse, “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5. Xochitl Dixon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. Being a believer and member of Christ community, it is our privilege to show love and demonstrate concern for others through acts of kindness. We the model Christ Jesus who is the supreme example of humility and selfless service.

Lord Jesus, help us to model your love by doing what we can to serve others.
