God Is with You

I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “His Presence” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Exodus 3:7–12 with the key verse, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14. Lawrence Darmani wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I do most of my writing at night when everyone is asleep. It is God and me, and I can feel his presence as He talks to me and comforts me. I am sure Moses had the same feeling. God offers His presence and comfort to everyone who asked. There’s no need to fear where you’re going when Jesus is going with you.

When the journey seems long and dreary, dear Lord, help us to remember that You are traveling with us.
