I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Who’s Driving?” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Romans 6:1–14 with the key verse, “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25. James Banks wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. What I take away from this devotion is after you have become a Christian, you have to decide who and what will run your life. Will it be God through Christ and the Holy Spirit or the world and your lustful desires. I choose God. As Paul said, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?", Romans 6:1-2.

Loving Lord, thank You for the grace You give us to obey You, and the peace You give us as we stay near.

May God bless and give you grace.
