I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Thanks for Who God Is” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Psalm 95:1–7 with the key verse, “Let us come before him with thanksgiving . . . for the Lord is the great God.” Psalm 95:2–3. Dave Branon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. The best way to praise God is for who He is. He is our Father who loves us unconditionally. After "The fall of man," instead of writing us off, He provided a way we can share the same relationship once enjoyed in the Garden of Eden. Everything he created is for our enjoyment and reminder of his majesty and love.
Thank You, dear God, for being who You are—the Almighty God who loves us and welcomes our love in return. Thank You for everything that makes You magnificent. We stand in awe of You as we praise You with word and song.
May God bless you so, you can experience who God is.
