What Is Your House of Life Built On?

I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “A Solid Foundation” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Matthew 7:24–27 with the key verse, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24. Amy Peterson wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. Before I became a Christian, I was rebellious and never followed God's word. My life was in ruins. When I became a Christian, a tremendous weight was lifted off my shoulders. I have a solid foundation (Jesus' words) for living my life.
